Research Services (RS) provides administrative support to enhance research endeavours in the University and to effectively implement the strategies and policies established by the University Research Committee, which is chaired by the Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research).

Seed Fund for Basic Research for New Staff
The Seed Fund for Basic Research for New Staff aims to assist in the initial development of a research project to enable it to gain a competitive edge to secure funding later on from external sources, and all eligible staff can apply for maximum funding of HK$150,000 (with possible matching funds from the Faculty/Department). Applications may be made before assuming duty or within the first six months of service. Click here for more details.
